"The beauty of Pines Ranch has captivated its visitors for years, many of whom claim the ranch is the most beautiful, peaceful place in the world. Those who possess it have put in work, labor and have sacrificed time to appreciate its beauty. To them, it is more than just a nature reserve. It's a historical safe-haven."

Our History
Est. 1907

Pines Ranch began in 1907, beginning with John Whitaker and Frank Taylor, who first inhabited the land by camping in tents and fishing along the Weber River. Over the years, families began traveling from Park City and Salt Lake City by wagons, horses and buggies to camp at the refurbished property.
In 1910, Pines Ranch became an official corporation and was dedicated by Joseph F. Smith, the LDS church's prophet at that time.
