Water System Abuse

Pines Ranch Work Day Policy

Workers should plan to work from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (four hours per worker).  Workers should be 14 years old or older for their work hours to be counted.  Each Shareholder is responsible to provide 16 hours of work or be assessed $25.00 per hour not worked.  Please be sure to sign in and sign out at the fire shed.  If you do not sign out, we will have to guess the hours you worked, which could be less than what you actually worked.

In the event a share is not able to provide the necessary workers/hours, please contact Steve Fotheringham or a member of the Board for suggestions and approval on ways to make up the required hours during the summer by doing other projects around the ranch such as “thistle spraying, fencing or fire control”. This work must be documented in writing.

Each share will be assigned to a Director who will be their Work Group Steward.  The Work Group Steward will contact the members of his group to inform them of any special tools necessary to accomplish their assigned project.  Each worker regardless of assignment should come dressed in long sleeved shirts, long pants, sturdy shoes or boots, gloves and bring a shovel.  If you have a working chain saw or other tools and equipment please bring them.  Most shares will be doing the same assignment as in previous years.

We look forward to two productive work days on the ranch working together.  This is a great way to get to know the other shareholders on the beautiful ranch we all love as we work to improve our inheritance.
